Dear Member

At our last meeting Bob Bibby entertained with his ‘Cakes & Ale Trail’, a circuitous walk covering 100 miles starting at Great Malvern. Along each section of the route, we were recommended either to a teashop for very nice cakes or to a pub where a good pint of ale was on offer. The added interest was the names of well known people who lived or who had connection to some of the villages along the way

Listening to the radio program ‘You and Yours’ last week I was amazed to learn that there are approximately 43 million counterfeit one pound coins in circulation. I have had two such coins in a matter of days slipped into my change without realising it. They are easy to miss if you don’t look closely, so beware!

Best wishes
